Healthy Tonics & Elixers

Healthy organic ingredients like ginger, lemon, turmeric, berries and spice can help boost your immunity, increase your metabolism, and give you a quick vitality punch!  These are strong and concentrated, so I take them as a shot.

Blueberry Boost

1 large package blueberries
3 lemons
1/2 cup ginger
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Add all ingredients except honey and cayenne to your juicer. Peel the lemons and ginger. If you don’t have a juicer, use a blender and strain. Add the honey and cayenne.

Healing Citrus

2 large oranges
1/2 orange peel
1/4 cup turmeric
1/2 cup ginger
1/2 cup pineapple
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Add all ingredients except honey and cayenne to your juicer. Peel the orange, turmeric and ginger. If you don’t have a juicer, use a blender and strain. Add the honey and cayenne.

Apple Bliss

4 apples
2 lemons
4 celery stalks
1/2 cup ginger
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Add all ingredients except cayenne to your juicer. Peel the lemons and ginger. If you don’t have a juicer, use a blender and strain. Add the cayenne.
